Performance with large datasets

Hi,

When working with large datasets, say 3000 odd points on the X-Axis, when moving the cursor either with the mouse or keyboard, it seems to be very slow.

For example when moving the cursor with mouse, the cursor lags. Similarly with the keyboard, it's a good 2 seconds before the cursor moves.

I've tested this with a sample program creating a series using FillSamples(3000). No other processing takes place other than moving the cursor.

Any ideas?

Hi Agrilink,

Have you tried running your application in release mode? Running in debug mode slows down all applications.

I have tried running in release mode and it makes virtually no difference.
